We work in partnership with a wide range of customers from sectors including automation, plant and tool hire, facility management, retail, manufacturing, construction, agriculture, the public sector and much more. Job Purpose
We are looking for a proactive and resilient Administrator to join our Transport team at our Offices in Stourport-on-Severn for a 6 month contract to cover a period of maternity leave. The right candidate will be immediately available, possess a positive attitude, and be an excellent team player who can provide administrative support to our busy Transport & Distribution Managers.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Administration
Driver payroll and expenses collation and submission
Maintaining spreadsheets and reporting as required
Order processing of ancillary items - e.g. drum trolleys/electric pallet trucks and monitor servicing of them
Liaising with drivers/depot managers on stock availability
Answering phone/emails, dealing with queries that come in
Booking taxis/hire cars for drivers as required
HR admin assistance via online HR system Bamboo HR e.g. new starter updates, uploading documents
Other adhoc logistics based tasks as requested
Planning
Updating ETA report - booked/overdue, etc.
Liaise with drivers as requested e.g. downloading cards, driver training
Sending jobs to drivers
Planning cover for holiday/sick under guidance
Assist with booking drivers in at depots and sending manifests
Completing manual paperwork as requested
Essential skills and experience
Attention to Detail
IT Literate, comfortable with outlook, word and excel
Ability to learn new tasks and processes
Hours of work
8.30am - 5.00pm
Monday to Friday
40 hours per week
No weekends
