Job Overview

We're now looking for a Fleet Manager to lead our transport operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

o? ?Oversee fleet maintenance, servicing, MOTs, and defect reporting.

o? ?Plan and coordinate daily delivery and collection routes to optimise fleet utilisation.

o? ?Lead and support drivers - recruitment, training, performance management, and compliance.

o? ?Maintain accurate transport records (vehicle files, driver logs, maintenance schedules, incident reports).

o? ?Manage budgets including fuel, vehicle hire, maintenance, and overtime.

o? ?Drive improvements in routing, cost control, and customer delivery experience.

o? ?Collaborate with internal teams (sales, customer service, operations) to align transport operations.

o? ?Manage relationships with courier partners and external suppliers.

Requirements

o? ?Bachelor's/Master's degree in the relevant field.

o? ?Proven experience in transport/logistics management with fleet and driver compliance.

o? ?Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation and fleet operations.

o? ?Experience in route planning and transport/telematics systems.

o? ?Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

o? ?Ability to manage third-party logistics providers and enforce SLAs.
