Carson Powell Construction Ltd are a well-established Construction and Maintenance Repairs / Facilities Management business based in Stoke-on-Trent. A unique opportunity has arisen to manage the company's brand new fleet of Nissan vans and company cars, approx 70 vehicles.
Main duties would include management of all company vans, company cars and assets (diggers, trailers, generators etc):
Fleet Management - servicing, MOT's, tax, and maintenance - including quarterly inspections plus all defects / repairs booked in - liaising with local dealerships (Nissan) and garages to fit in with work schedules
Managing Tracking system (velocity) - locating vehicles and monitoring driver style
Driving licence checks & driving penalties
Ability to deliver / collect vehicles when required
Preparing vehicles for sale and setting up new vehicles
Assisting with Fleet Insurance Claims
Assisting with the asset Management of Company Equipment / plant - logged, booked in & out and serviced or calibrated as per schedules
Assist with other office administration / management as and when required
Key skills required
Good understanding of vehicle knowledge including full driving licence
Previous experience in a similar role
Microsoft excel & outlook essential
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
Strong communication skills, confident phone manner
Team player with ability to influence
Salary is negotiable depending on skills and experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 30,000.00-36,000.00 per year
