Could you be the Fleet / Depot Planner at Wulkuraka we\'re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your administrative expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You\'ll report to Asset Planning Manager, and work alongside a close-knit team of Planning professionals. You\'ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our QNGR fleet at the Wulkuraka Maintenance Facility.

We\'ll look to you for:

  • Developing comprehensive maintenance plans, including identifying maintenance requirements, scheduling inspections, and defining necessary tasks.
  • Strategically allocating resources, including manpower and equipment, to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to our maintenance strategy and industry regulations, maintaining high levels of safety and reliability.
  • Working closely with our supply chain team to ensure seamless material availability. By collaborating effectively, you will contribute to optimizing inventory levels, streamlining procurement processes, and ensuring timely availability of required materials. Your expertise in coordinating with the supply chain will be invaluable in maintaining a smooth flow of materials for our maintenance operations.
  • Leveraging your proficiency in SAP and MRP systems to enhance data management, generate accurate reports, and facilitate seamless communication across teams.
  • Coordinating and overseeing maintenance projects from initiation to completion, ensuring deadlines are met, and objectives are achieved.
  • Collaborating with various departments to integrate maintenance activities with other programs, minimizing asset downtime and enhancing overall operational efficiency.

  • Experience with planning tools and software, ideally SAP.
  • Significant experience in a similar role as a Fleet/Depot or Maintenance Planner.
  • Exposure to rail or heavy industry preferred.
