Job Description

Due to expansion and new workshop facilities, Ellisons are looking for an experienced Fleet Engineer to join our garage team. You will report to the Director of Engineering.

We are a well established company dealing with bespoke vehicles and clients so applicants must be able to work to tight deadlines as well to a high standard with an eye for detail and a fix first time attitude.

Applicants must have a hands on approach and be able to demonstrate the ability to work alone as well as part of a team and to manage your workload and use your initiative while prioritising work and defects

Essential :

City & Guilds Level 3, Heavy Vehicle Maintenance PCV Driving Licence Flexible approach to working hours 5 years experience in a heavy vehicle background
Desirable:

Electrical knowledge Familiar with Vanhool, Irizar and DAF engines Air conditioning ITREC - Service Maintenance Inspection accreditation - must be willing to obtain within 12 months Experience of the Earned Recognition scheme
Required Experience

Excellent standards of work to exceed DVSA guidelines Dealing with breakdowns safely and efficiently Experience of electronic reporting systems Ensure all paperwork is completed to an accurate and high standard Awareness of health and safety obligations always. DBS Check
