Fleet Management Assistant - Dunstable
Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Fleet Management Assistant in Dunstable to join a successful and expanding logistics company. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with transport or fleet management experience to develop their career within a professional and supportive environment.
Location: Dunstable
Salary: Up to 35,000 per annum + benefits
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am-4:00 pm or 8:00 am-5:00 pm (flexible)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Transport Manager with day-to-day fleet operations and administration
• Support with vehicle compliance, maintenance, and documentation tracking
• Provide IT support for driver tablets and other digital devices
• Maintain accurate records and data within fleet management software systems
• Communicate effectively with drivers and team members to ensure smooth operations
• Perform general administrative tasks as required

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in fleet or transport management
• Valid CPC qualification
• Strong IT knowledge and familiarity with fleet software systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and teamwork abilities
• Full UK driving licence
