We are a creative street marketing company with a network of billboard sites across the UK. Clients come to us for our street level posters as well as 3D creative activations on the street.
Behind the scenes, our fleet of over 40 vehicles play a vital role in keeping the business moving - supporting our billposters, builders, creative studio and warehouse teams as they bring our campaigns to life.
We are now looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our fleet operations, ensuring our vehicles, drivers, and related assets are safe, efficient, compliant, and performing at their best. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our operations, helping to keep our people on the road safe and our work delivered to the highest standard with scope to grow the role as the company grows.
What you'll be doing
Oversee the daily management of our fleet of vans and cars, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with company and legal standards.
Implement and maintain fleet policies and procedures in line with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Manage vehicle servicing, maintenance, and inspections to minimise downtime and costs.
Monitor fuel usage, mileage, and operating costs to drive efficiencies.
Ensure all drivers are trained, compliant, and supported with the tools they need to perform their roles safely.
Create an open and supportive set of processes for drivers, encourage postive communication.
Maintain accurate fleet records, including insurance, MOT, road tax, and leasing agreements.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings across fleet operations.
Manage and oversee the tracking of our fleet, liasing with managers and drivers when required.
Lead initiatives to improve sustainability - keeping up to date on clean air zone regulations and ensuring our vehicles are compliant.
Ensure all vehicles are fitted out to support the work of their drivers
Training of new team members on best practise.
Hold workshops and toolbox talks for drivers on best piratic and sage usage of our vehicles
Create purchasing and leasing forecasts and schedules liaising closely with the finance team to manage costs.
Work closely with the Head of Warehouse to ensure we are making the most of opportunities for efficiencies and improvements.
Oversee the fleet budget.
Manage the hiring and usage of platforms and lifts
Work closely with our managers to optimise logistics
About you
Proven experience in fleet management or a similar operational role.
Strong knowledge of transport compliance, vehicle legislation, and driver safety.
Organised, proactive, and able to balance hands-on operational tasks with strategic planning.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Comfortable managing budgets and negotiating with suppliers.
A problem-solver with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
