We are seeking an experienced and proactive
Fleet Manager
to oversee the strategic and operational management of our vehicle fleet. This role is responsible for ensuring full regulatory compliance, optimising fleet performance, and delivering cost-effective solutions across maintenance, licensing, insurance, and distribution.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities to include:
Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date asset database across the fleet
Ensuring all vehicles are serviced in line with manufacturer guidelines
Coordinating cost control initiatives and driving efficiency savings
Liaising with repair networks to uphold best practices
Maximising fleet utilisation by minimising vehicle downtime
Monitoring operational trends to support proactive fleet acquisitions
Managing fleet renewals and decommissioning processes
Overseeing strategic fleet distribution and non-core fleet management
Administering vehicle tracking systems and monitoring geofencing alerts
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements across the fleet
Producing reports for the Fleet Director
Liaising with multiple councils regarding EDGE licensing requirements
Scheduling camera installations for EDGE taxis
Coordinating taxi tests for EDGE vehicles
Arranging mobile PCO engineer visits to Potters Bar for multiple vehicles
Monitoring daily functionality of Kasava camera systems
Arranging installation of taxi meters and roof signs for Hackney carriage vehicles as needed
