Fleet Technician

We are seeking a Fleet Technician to join our Engineering team. This is a hands-on role focused on the testing, commissioning, maintenance, overhaul, and repair of ROG's fleet of traction and rolling stock. You will play a key part in ensuring our assets meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake maintenance, repair, and modification of traction and rolling stock.

Support service delivery and manage spares, tooling, and documentation.

Represent ROG at technical meetings, industry forums, and supplier groups.

Maintain accurate technical and performance records.

Provide technical support during operations and incidents.

Participate in on-call duties and site safety tours.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

What We're Looking For

Essential: ONC/HNC or equivalent in a technical or engineering discipline.

Strong understanding of traction and rolling stock maintenance.

Knowledge of maintenance planning and control processes.

Proficient in MS Office and railway systems (TOPS/R2/RSL/Genius).

Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Pay: 40,000.00-42,000.00 per year
