Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled flexi Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Flexi license will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of flexi forklifts and other material handling equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring that goods are accurately loaded, unloaded, and stored within the warehouse environment.

Duties

Operate flexi forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely. Ensure proper stacking and storage of materials in accordance with warehouse management systems. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments. Perform routine inspections and basic repairs on equipment to maintain operational efficiency. Handle heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and maintain a clean and organised work area.

Skills

Proficient in operating flexi forklifts with a strong understanding of materials handling techniques. Experience with warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels. Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and maintenance tasks. Strong basic maths skills for accurate inventory counts and shipping documentation. Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable, including familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while adhering to safety regulations.
