We are looking for a passionate, caring, and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our nursery team. You will play a key role in creating a warm, stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Working within the EYFS framework, you will support children's development through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions.
Key Responsibilities,Childcare & Learning
Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 6 months to 5 years
Plan, deliver, and support engaging activities that promote learning and development
Observe, assess, and record children's progress in line with EYFS requirements
Environment & Safety
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times
Support daily routines, including mealtimes, nappy changing, and transitions
Relationships & Communication
Build strong, nurturing relationships with children
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations
Communicate effectively with parents and carers, offering support and feedback
Person Specification Essential
A genuine passion for early childhood education
Experience working with young children in an Early Years setting
Friendly, positive, and proactive attitude
Ability to work well as part of a team
Desirable
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
Understanding of the EYFS curriculum
First Aid and Safeguarding training
