Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and portion controls.
Manage food production schedules to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques into menu offerings.
Experience
Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are advantageous.
Prior experience in food preparation and cooking, demonstrating creativity in menu development.
