Overview
We are seeking a Host/Receptionist to join our team at a new vibrant and exciting establishment in the heart of the city. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience to our guests, ensuring their visit is memorable and enjoyable. Based at the Lazy Frog Uplands, soon to be the Floats & Wellness Hub above Costa Coffee.
Shift pattern
To work Saturdays and Sundays every other weekend, alternating with another staff member i.e. January 17th & 18th, next weekend off, then 31st January and 1st Feb, and so on. Hours will be 9:30am to 6pm (however possibly 7:30pm if last float booked at 6pm).To be discussed and agreed if any flexibility needed. Opportunity to work other days once the company becomes popular.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Escort guests to their chosen method of relaxation i.e. floatation or infrared sauna
- Manage reservations efficiently with knowledge of benefits services provide
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of all areas
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guests' inquiries and concerns promptly around using the facilities offered at the Float & Wellness Hub, promoting our monthly membership scheme
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is desirable.
- Strong communication skills with a polite and courteous attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, learning how to maintain the facilities appropriately and within guidelines.
- Willingness to learn and experience first hand the benefits of using floatation therapy and infrared saunas
- Familiarity with administrative tasks such as phone etiquette and booking systems
- Be able to organise bookings through phone calls, face to face and online. Take payments by cash, card and online also.
