About the role




We have an exciting opportunity for a Flooding Support Analyst 2 to become part of our Flooding Support team, playing a key role in delivering our end-to-end sewer flooding investigation process.


In this role, you'll provide vital analysis and support to our customer-facing technical teams, ensuring detailed flooding investigations are completed efficiently and that all data is accurate and comprehensive. You'll help manage flood alerts and incident escalation, using Met Office Hazard Manager to deliver timely rainfall information to key stakeholders.


Your work will involve combining live customer information, technical expertise, and historical investigation outcomes to drive effective sewer flooding investigations and continuous improvement. This is a chance to make a real impact in protecting communities and improving our response to flooding events.

About you




We're looking for someone with proven experience in data analysis and reporting, combined with excellent communication, customer service, and negotiation skills. You'll thrive in a collaborative environment, working effectively within multidisciplinary teams while managing tight deadlines and a demanding workload, all with a strong focus on delivering for our customers.


You should be educated to BTEC or an equivalent Level 3 qualification in an environmental, engineering, science, or construction-related discipline. A valid driving licence is essential, as regular travel to different offices will be part of the role.

This role has also been defined as a safety or security critical role and as a condition of a formal offer of employment you'll be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test.
