Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tiler to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for Installing of a wide range of ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles using different techniques in residential and commercial properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction and a keen eye for detail to contribute to high-quality projects. Applicants should be organised, reliable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

Be able to operate in domestic and commercial properties undertaking all types of wall and floor tiling Measure and cut tiles accurately using hand tools and power tools to fit specific spaces Install tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces following schematics and design specifications Install a wide range of ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles using different techniques Have a good knowledge of tiles, backgrounds, and ancillary products Read and interpret detailed floor and tiles drawings and schematics to execute precise installations.

Skills

Proven experience in construction, particularly with tiling installation Proficiency in installing tiles using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, and measuring tapes Knowledge of power tools including drills, tile saws, and tile cutters Strong understanding of schematics and technical drawings for accurate placement of floor and wall tiles Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Good physical fitness to handle lifting, bending, and working at various heights Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
