We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in using hand and power tools, as well as the ability to interpret schematics and build structures with precision. This role is essential in ensuring that all fittings are completed to the highest standards, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Responsibilities
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble and fit components according to specifications.
Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and ensure accurate construction.
Collaborate with team members to build structures, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Perform painting tasks as required, maintaining a clean and professional finish on all fittings.
Conduct regular inspections of work completed to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring tools and materials are stored safely when not in use.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
A background in carpentry is advantageous but not essential.
