Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fitter on a temporary basis to fit flooring in several of our care homes. We require someone to lay vinyl and safety flooring. Mostly based in Mold, Flintshire with some travel to our home in Heswall, Wirral. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in fitting flooring.
Duties
Skilled floor fitter. Use hand tools, power tools, and construction painting techniques to complete tasks efficiently and safely. Assist with carpentry tasks, including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials as required. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in floor fitting is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment. Strong understanding of safety procedures. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Relevant certifications or qualifications in related fields are desirable but not essential.
We are looking for an immediate start. This is a temporary contract of 6-8 weeks work.

Pay: 15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
