Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Layer to join our dynamic team at Lakeside Construction Services Ltd. This role is crucial in ensuring high-quality flooring installations that meet our clients' specifications and standards, contributing to our reputation for excellence in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for flooring installation by removing old flooring and ensuring subfloor stability. Applying latex floor levelling compound and flat laying sheet vinyl flooring, including welding wet room joints and Cap & Cove. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to achieve precise cuts and installations. Read and interpret schematics and project plans to execute flooring layouts accurately. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years proven experience as a Floor Layer Strong knowledge of different flooring materials and installation techniques. Ability to use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Basic understanding of reading schematics and blueprints is preferred. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
