About Us

Leaves Property Services delivers high-quality maintenance, refurbishment and compliance works across the South. With demand growing across reactive, planned and void property refurbishments, we're looking for a fulltime, experienced and versatile Floorlayer to join our team.

The Role

You'll carry out professional installations of vinyl, Polysafe, and safety flooring - including cap-and-cove, wet rooms, and communal areas. You'll also support related flooring prep and finishing tasks, such as hardboarding and laying floorboards. The broader your skill set, the more varied your workload will be.

Jobs are assigned via tablet, and you'll work across both occupied and void properties as part of our responsive and planned works teams.

Key Responsibilities

Install Polysafe, vinyl, and cap-and-cove safety flooring Carry out heat welding and finishing to a high standard Prepare subfloors using smoothing compounds Lay hardboards, floorboards, and other flooring substrates Support related refurbishment tasks Upload job notes and photos via tablet in real time Liaise with the office/planning team to coordinate materials and access Maintain a safe, clean working environment on every site

Key Requirements

Proven experience fitting vinyl, safety flooring, and cap-and-cove Skilled in floor prep, including laying hardboard and floorboards Experience with heat welding and finishing tools Full UK driving licence Own flooring tools (company van + fuel provided) CSCS card preferred Able to work independently and maintain a professional finish A flexible approach - the more skills, the better!
