About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Floor Layer to join our maintenance and repairs team, working within occupied and void social housing properties across Tower Hamlets. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary, company vehicle, and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

Carry out installation, repair, and replacement of various types of flooring including vinyl, carpet, lino, and laminate. Prepare surfaces for flooring by cleaning, levelling, and applying appropriate materials. Measure, cut, and fit flooring materials accurately to required specifications. Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing floor surfaces. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and complies with health and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service to tenants and residents. Maintain company van, tools, and equipment in good working condition.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Floor Layer, ideally within social housing or domestic property maintenance. Strong knowledge of different flooring materials and installation methods. Full UK driving licence (essential). Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently. Good communication and customer service skills. Willingness to work across multiple sites within the Tower Hamlets area.
