We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service to our guests. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, food preparation, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the venue.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members, including cooks, bartenders, and service personnel.
Ensure that all food production meets quality standards and is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Assist in food preparation as needed, demonstrating culinary skills when required.
Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies and ensuring proper stock rotation.
Train new employees on operational procedures, hospitality standards, and customer service excellence.
Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff members.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or food service industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Experience in food preparation and culinary practices is highly desirable.
Knowledge of bartending techniques and beverage management is an advantage.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business needs.
