We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in food preparation and service, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and fostering a positive team environment to uphold the organisation's reputation for excellence.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate all front-of-house and back-of-house activities, ensuring smooth operational flow
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
Manage team members, including scheduling shifts, training new staff, and providing ongoing support and motivation
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the establishment
Monitor service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly
Assist in inventory management, including stock control and ordering supplies as needed
Maintain a clean, organised workspace in accordance with health and safety guidelines
Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality services, including serving customers when necessary
Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimise food production processes and menu offerings
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative environment
Previous experience in restaurant or hotel settings is highly desirable
Knowledge of culinary techniques, food production processes, and service standards
Experience in managing multiple responsibilities efficiently under pressure
Familiarity with hospitality industry regulations and best practices in food safety
