We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate front?of?house staff, including shift scheduling and daily duties.
Ensure customers receive timely, polite, and high-quality service.
Coordinate between kitchen and front?of?house to ensure orders are served correctly and on time.
Handle customer enquiries, feedback, complaints or special requests politely and effectively.
Oversee cleanliness and hygiene in dining and service areas, ensuring high standards.
Monitor stock of front?of?house items (napkins, condiments, packaging for takeaway, etc.) and liaise with kitchen or management to restock.
Support management in improving service, workflow and customer experience.
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management roles with supervising responsibilities
Strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and hospitality operations
Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control, budgeting, and cost management
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively
Prior experience in casual dining, fine dining, catering, or hotel food service environments preferred
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and conduct staff evaluations confidently
