We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Floor Manager to oversee daily operations within our bustling hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food service, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service throughout the establishment. The successful applicant will play a key role in fostering a positive team atmosphere and ensuring operational excellence.

Duties



Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, to ensure smooth service delivery. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and adhere to food safety regulations. Manage the daily workflow of the restaurant, including organising shifts and delegating tasks effectively. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all areas of operation. Monitor customer service levels, address any issues promptly, and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Assist in training new staff members on service protocols, food safety procedures, and company policies. Maintain stock levels by coordinating with suppliers and managing inventory efficiently. Uphold organisational standards related to cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation within the restaurant environment. Support marketing initiatives by promoting special events or menu items as required.

Requirements



Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality settings. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Previous experience in supervising staff involved in serving, hospitality, or hotel environments is highly desirable. Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure. Familiarity with culinary techniques and restaurant workflows is essential. Exceptional communication skills to liaise with staff and customers professionally. A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining high standards of service quality. Pay: 28,420.00-32,427.75 per year
