We are seeking a experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a vibrant restaurant environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and be committed to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and offering assistance as needed. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are noted clearly. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for guest satisfaction. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to culinary standards. Perform basic math calculations for order totals and processing payments accurately. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is essential, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential. Basic math skills for handling payments and order calculations. Experience in serving or kitchen roles is an advantage, particularly in fast-paced environments. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during peak hours. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. A willingness to learn about menu items and culinary techniques to enhance guest interactions. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
