We're looking for a hardworking, friendly Food & Beverage Assistant to join the team at Mavericks. This role is central to the experience we offer our guests. welcoming service, well-presented food, and a smooth, reliable operation. We need someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys the buzz of a busy service, and brings a solid understanding of hospitality, catering, and food handling. Main Responsibilities o Greet guests warmly and take orders clearly and accurately. o Support food preparation and ensure every dish is presented to a high standard. o Serve food and drinks promptly, following all health and safety guidelines. o Keep the dining areas clean, organised, and well-maintained. o Work closely with the kitchen to keep service flowing, especially at peak times. o Assist with cash handling when required. o Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene practices at all times. o Help with catering events, including setup, service, and clear-down. What We're Looking For o Experience in restaurants or hospitality is highly preferred. o Strong catering and serving skills to support busy shifts and events. o Good knowledge of basic food preparation and food-safety standards. o Barista skills are a bonus for roles involving coffee service. o Confident communication and the ability to work well as part of a team. o A positive, guest-focused attitude. o Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy seasonal periods.
