Overview

Ragu Pasta is a busy fresh pasta restaurant in the centre of Edinburgh, we are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Floor Staff to join our vibrant team. As a member of our team you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional guest services while ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks, from running your own section to preparing drinks, all while embodying our commitment to quality and hospitality.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude, ensuring they feel valued and attended to. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, demonstrating excellent upselling skills to enhance the dining experience. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service delivery during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Uphold high standards of hospitality by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A genuine passion for guest services and helping others enjoy their dining experience. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
