Role Overview

As part-time Floor Staff, you will play an essential role in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment, and supporting the overall daily operations of the venue. You will be the face of The Village Inn on the floor, ensuring guests feel welcomed, attended to, and valued.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently Deliver orders promptly while maintaining high service standards Clear tables, reset seating areas, and maintain overall tidiness of the venue Assist behind the bar or in other areas when required Provide product knowledge and recommendations to guests Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards Handle payments and operate the till as needed Support team members and maintain a positive working environment Address guest queries or issues and escalate to management when necessary

Skills & Qualifications

Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred (but not essential) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and team-focused Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts as required
