Front of House - Part-Time Position

Courtyard Cafe at Kailzie Estate

We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused team member to join our small front-of-house team at Courtyard Cafe, set in the grounds of Kailzie Estate.

This is a part-time, seasonal role with regular weekend shifts, so weekend availability is essential. We currently open Wednesday to Sunday and will move to seven-day opening from June. The cafe is open until mid-October. Initially, the role will offer one to two shifts per week, with the opportunity to take on additional shifts over the summer.

Due to our rural location, applicants should live within 10 miles and have reliable transport. Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, or similar customer-facing role is strongly preferred, with barista experience a bonus. If you enjoy a busy, friendly environment and take pride in good service, we would love to hear from you.

Previous experience in hospitality or customer service Good communication skills and attention to detail An interest in food and drink Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a team Must be available at weekends

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering friendly, efficient service and welcoming customers Taking orders and processing payments accurately Preparing and serving food and drinks Assisting with food preparation and presentation while maintaining hygiene standards Keeping the cafe clean, organised, and running smoothly

Pay: 8.50-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 12 per week
