Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive

Floor Supervisor/head waiter

to support the daily operations of our venue. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership qualities, a passion for hospitality, and a hands-on approach to team management. As a Floor Supervisor/Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth service, staff coordination, and a consistently high standard of guest experience.

Duties

Supervise front-of-house operations to ensure efficient and professional service at all times. Support and motivate team members during shifts, providing guidance and assistance where needed. Handle guest inquiries or complaints with professionalism and a focus on customer satisfaction. Monitor floor activity, delegate tasks, and ensure tables are turned over efficiently during busy periods. Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and daily reports. Collaborate with the management team to implement service improvements and meet business goals. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and maintain a clean, welcoming environment. Help train and onboard new team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Skills

Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a hospitality environment. Strong organisational and communication skills, with a proactive, hands-on attitude. Ability to lead by example and inspire others in a fast-paced, team-focused setting. Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, especially during high-pressure situations. Solid understanding of service flow and customer engagement strategies. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic administrative duties. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
