Floor specialist

West London - Surrey

We are seeking for a reliable, skilled and experienced floor fitter with attention to detail.

Must have experience installing straight planks and herringbone/chevron wooden floors. Screeding/ Joist - Levelling, Sanding-Finishing experience is advantageous.

Work locations will be throughout London and close vicinity of surrounding counties. Weekend work is also available.

Duties

Install a variety of flooring materials, including straight plank and herringbone hardwood. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for flooring installation tasks. Perform construction estimating to provide accurate project timelines and material needs. Execute trim carpentry and fixture installation to enhance the overall aesthetic of the space. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Collaborate with team members to complete remodeling projects efficiently. Must follow health and safety guideline.

Requirements

Proven experience in flooring installation. Strong skills in levelling, and concrete finishing. Familiarity with restoration industry practices is preferred. Experience with hand tools and power tools relevant to flooring installation tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various construction environments. Previous maintenance person experience is beneficial for this role.
