Job Description

East Yorkshire Carpets are a well established and local leading provider of floor coverings to many regions including retail customers and some of the most prestigious house builders, letting agents, construction and maintenance companies.

We require a Flooring/Carpet Estimator to join our existing team. Working from our designated commercial centre, this role would ideally suit a person who is able to multi task and work in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will need to have strong mathematical and problem solving skills.

This role would ideally suit someone from the flooring industry or an Estimator from a similar background. Ideally with sales experience.

Day to day duties would include visiting various sites and properties locally and further afield to accurately measure, plan & quantify for carpets & various floorcoverings. You will be liasing with a wide range of commercial and retail customers including house builders/developers, letting agents, education organisations and healthcare providers.

Candidates must have a clean valid Uk Driving License and transport will be provided.

A salary of up to 30,000 per Annum to the right candidate.

Previous experience of working within the flooring industry would be advantageous, although full product training will be provided.

The ideal person would need to be punctual, hard working with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A high attention to detail is a must, along with experience working with measurements and dimensions.
