Flower arranging Tutor - from October 2025

We are an 'Outstanding' Sixth Form College which offers a wide range of learning opportunities for students of all ages.

Through our adult education provision, we aim to empowering adults through education. We strive to provide high-quality, accessible, and flexible learning opportunities that support personal and professional growth.

We are looking for an enthusiastic flower arranging tutor to join our team and help our students achieve their goals.

Adults take flower arranging classes for fun to develop their skills in this area. There are no exams.

The flower arranging course takes place on Monday evenings from 6.00pm - 8.00pm and starts on 13th October. The course runs termly for 8 weeks, subject to applications. The costs of the tutor demonstration flowers is covered by the College and the arrangement is displayed in our reception after the class. Students bring their own flowers and materials, following a list provided by the tutor in advance.

There may be opportunity for the right candidate to undertake other work to increase their hours in the College such as Teaching Assistant work

We are also interested in applications from individuals who can contribute to a wide range of classes both during the day and evening. We are always willing to offer new classes put forward by teachers to see if there is interest.

The College reserves the right to interview and appoint early if a suitable candidate applies.

The successful candidates will be required to possess an enhanced DBS certificate to be employed at the College.
