FLT Counterbalance Driver - Night Shift

The position of a Clarke Transport Counterbalance Operator involves:

Loading and unloading of collection and delivery vehicles. Unloading of night trunk vehicles for the network. Reloading pallets onto delivery vehicles Lorries. Assisting when required within the warehouse to include wrapping and labelling of pallets. Keeping the yard clean and tidy

Essential Skills required of Clarke Transport Counterbalance Forklift Driver:

Hold a current counterbalance forklift license. Can do attitude. Excellent time-keeping skills. Accuracy and excellent organisational skills. Confidence to communicate at all levels. Ability to work under pressure. Working to deadlines. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative. Flexible approach to work. Fantastic Health & Safety standards. Logistics environment experience. Excellent verbal and written English and Numeracy. Ability to fill out necessary paperwork efficiently and correctly. Attend any necessary training required to help you fulfil your role.

Weekly pay (every Thursday) 20 Days plus eight statutory holidays (28 days in total Pro Rota) Additional Holiday after four years' service - Extra Day for every additional year's service up to a maximum of 5 extra days (Pro-Rata) Death in service - 20,000 Permanent employment Career progression

Ongoing training, refreshing your FLT when needed and possible upskilling to Class 2 through our apprenticeship scheme after 6 months service
