Job Description
Driver Hire Stockport are recruiting for a FLT dispatch operative for our well respected client based in the Macclesfield area. You will be working for one of the UK\xe2\x80\x99s best supplier of composite doors. Working Monday to Friday, 12:00-21:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch)
Our client will also offer other training and you will be given the opportunity to grow within the company.
Please be advised that this is a temp to perm position so the right candidate will be offered a full time position.
Duties Include:
- Packing items onto racks
- Wrapping and scanning Pallets
- Loading & Unloading duties with the forklift \xe2\x80\x93 Forklift is not always required
- Quality checks before the customer receives their order
- Admin duties
- General warehouse duties
- Heavy lifting required
- To complete daily reporting to the Dispatch Manager
- Previous dispatch experience
- Valid FLT Certs
- Good communication skills
- To work well in a team and solo
- UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
- On-Site parking
- Weekly Pay while working with Driver Hire.
- Personal lockers
Once you are taken on full time our client will pay \xc2\xa312.04ph with an additional \xc2\xa310/day shift supplement for each day worked. You will receive access to Compass (discount site to get money off shopping etc) along with access to the healthcare cash plan (WPA) and be enrolled into their pension scheme. The client offers 31 days holiday per year (including statutory days)
Before receiving the above benefits the candidate has to be complete a 65 shift (13 weeks) probation period with Driver Hire.
You will start on 11.50ph. Paid weekly + plus holiday entitlements until the probation period is over.
