About the Role


We are looking for a reliable and experienced FLT Driver to join our busy Manufacturing team at our Barry site.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift truck to transport raw materials and finished products across the site. This includes loading and unloading vehicles and kilns (if required), while ensuring all operations are carried out in line with safety standards and site procedures.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified FLT Driver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in supporting the wider production team by keeping things moving efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a forklift truck to move materials and products on site Load and unload vehicles and kilns (if required) Complete daily pre-operational checks and defect reports Ensure timber, pallets, and packaging are available to support production needs Follow Standard Operating Procedures at all times Maintain cleanliness and organisation of loading/unloading areas Communicate effectively with colleagues and represent the company professionally Support team goals and contribute to maintaining a respectful and productive working environment Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and wear PPE as required

What We're Looking For

Current counterbalance FLT licence A proactive, can-do attitude Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices Good communication skills and a team-focused mindset High attention to detail and accuracy in daily tasks Reliable with a strong work ethic and good timekeeping Previous experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment is desirable
