Doncaster Plant

Role description

We are currently seeking to recruit an FLT Driver to provide an efficient system of pallet movement of materials including finished goods, packaging and pallets across the full site.



Responsibilities:



To operate forklift trucks to transport finished products and packaging in a safe & controlled manner, ensuring there is no damage to the materials

Move finished from production areas to internal / external warehouses

Provide quality inspection of all pallets to be moved either finished goods or packaging and reject and report all substandard products

Supply the production department with the packaging requirements and pallets, return any foreign pallets and excessive packaging materials to stock

Removal of packaging from finished goods pallet to allow them to be fed onto the lines

General warehouse duties including stock checking & housekeeping

Complete daily FLT safety checks & record in record book



Required skills / qualifications:



Fully trained and qualified forklift truck driver

Ability to work on own initiative & works well in a team environment

Ability to communicate verbally

Ability to operate strapping and shrink-wrap machinery

Familiarity of Health and Safety policy procedures & Hygiene rules and procedures

Understanding of work instructions and follow company procedures

Based on Grade 4 of the harmonised pay scales. Salary Minimum 24,726 - 29,782 Maximum (1686 hours)
