Position Summary



Reporting to the Warehouse Logistics Supervisor your responsibilities include loading and unloading warehouse material, optimising loads to ensure operational efficiency and identifying damages to vehicles.

Forklift operators will need to transport valuable items, requiring diligence and good hand-eye coordination.

Main Duties/Responsibilities



Delivery & Collection Management



Check, take, and book deliveries. Add deliveries to the system (Dynamic Central). Inform relevant teams if a delivery is late or not received. Take oil deliveries and empty waste/oil water. Organise empty pallets and send to the goods-out yard. Empty skips and ensure skips are organised; call off cardboard skips as required. Manage collections and ensure timely movement of goods.

Inventory & Ingredients Management



Rotate ingredients and maintain correct labelling. Give ingredients to the prep room and sauces (cold or hot) to production. Ensure ingredient quality is correct and maintain hygiene standards. Organise sauces for production and prepare for the next day and PM shift.

Consumables & Department Support



Provide consumables to other departments (e.g., gloves, chemicals). Request shelf extensions or additional storage as needed.

Equipment & Facility Maintenance



Check condition of forklifts, pump trucks, and floor machines; add water if necessary. Monitor overall warehouse condition and cleanliness. Ensure good housekeeping and organise warehouse areas.

Administrative & Communication Tasks



Send emails to Colton, CBS, and Translink regarding deliveries. Answer audit questions and maintain records as required. Report issues and updates to QC and supervisors. Train new staff on processes and procedures. Sort out film and boxes for proper disposal or reuse.

Required Essential Skills and Qualification



Forklift Operation:

Proven experience and/or certification in forklift operation.

Safety Awareness:

Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse work.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, bending, and reaching.

Attention to Detail:

Ability to accurately track inventory, locate items, and ensure proper handling of materials.

Communication Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively with other warehouse staff and supervisors.

Teamwork:

Ability to work effectively as part of a team to complete tasks and meet deadlines.

Physical Fitness:

Ability to perform tasks that require physical exertion and stamina.
