Job Purpose:

To ensure timely delivery of the required raw materials to production and packaging lines whilst maintaining good standards of safety and housekeeping. Ensure correct finished goods are loaded for customer collection. To ensure the safe receipt of all stock delivered to site maintaining all food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

:

Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping ensuring clear and tidy work areas with particular focus on issues that may have H&S concerns such as slips, trips and falls, this includes the warehouses, chillers and the yard areas. Yard waste control. Follow company policies and procedures. Compliance with HACCP/GMP. Ensuring food safety compliance and procedures are maintained for all incoming/outgoing goods. Monitoring of product dates - use/deliver stock in correct rotation. Help to ensure correct stock levels are maintained on site. Assisting with daily cycle count of stock. Assisting with weekly stock takes. Control and pick customer orders in correct date rotation. Ensure all incoming raw materials are checked and comply with site requirements and stored in the correct areas to help maintain an efficient and audit ready department. Assist with inventory control, including stock rotation and reporting of discrepancies. Fulfill all necessary traceability documents. Ensure high service levels are maintained by loading correct stock onto collection vehicles. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Good communication with third party logistics drivers Communicate effectively with other departments within the business. Working closely with supply chain coordinator

Skills & Experience:

Counterbalance forklift training certificate within last 3 years Easily able to prioritize and organize work load Works well in a team Health and Safety awareness The ability to work on own initiative
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 33,000.00-35,000.00 per year
