Position Overview:

We are currently hiring a Forklift Truck Driver & Material Supply role to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in making our business operate smoothly by serving our manufacturing teams, unloading and loading vehicles coming and going throughout the day. Operating safely is a priority with a pleasant, dedicated approach to working with our teams. Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate counterbalance FLT and conduct required checks (daily etc) of forklifts and assigned equipment. As a priority supply material to manufacturing teams whilst minimising any downtime. Swift and safe removal of shop floor goods for storing or loading. Safely operate pallet trucks, electric pallet trucks and other equipment where required and authorised to do so. Safe organising and clear identification of stock and storage areas. Load and unload vehicles by hand or with FLT where required and keep accurate records. Assist production and all other teams across the entire business when required. Work closely with managers and supervisors to meet the sequencing requirements. Remove waste from production areas in to designated waste collection areas. Report any issues or malfunctions to leadership personnel promptly.

Qualifications:

Valid current counterbalance B1 FLT licence is required (last training within 3 years) Experience with driving counterbalance FLT within warehouse or manufacturing environments. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good physical condition, capable of lifting and moving heavy objects. Good understanding of safety procedures and guidelines. Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively. Willingness to work overtime as needed.
