Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled FLT Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, as well as the ability to handle materials and equipment effectively.

Duties

Operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Utilise a warehouse management system to track inventory and manage shipments. Assist in warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving tasks. Handle equipment repair as needed, demonstrating mechanical knowledge. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory levels. Collaborate with team members to optimise logistics processes.

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred. Proficiency in materials handling techniques and equipment operation, including forklifts. Strong mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repairs. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Basic math skills for inventory management and record keeping. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type used in the role.
