Job Description
At the Sheldon's Family Bakery, we produce some of the most iconic bread products in the UK. Part of what makes this family bakery unique is it's people. Through continued expansion and investment, we are increasing our Despatch Team at our Manchester site.
We are looking for FLT Drivers to work with our Production/ Despatch Team on the Night Shift.
You will be responsible for
Operating a Forklift to transport materials and goods throughout the Bakery forecourt.
Loading and unloading trucks and products safely and efficiently.
Ensuring the correct quantity and quality is picked for our customers
Stacking and organising pallets and other items within the bakery's .
Conducting pre-operation inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition following company Health and Safety guidelines.
What are are looking for?
You will hold a valid FLT Licence. Proactive, can-do attitude. Independent worker with good time-keeping skills. Excellent written and verbal English is a must. Excellent communication and Numeracy skills -
What's in the job?
.You will be responsible for ensuring order fill in full across all customers. You will work with the Night Despatch Manager/ Supervisor to ensure that all paperwork is completed correctly. You will be responsible for the Health & Safety of your self and others.
