The Warehouse Operative is responsible for carrying out a range of duties within the warehouse, including the safe receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods. The role supports the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures. This role will be on a fixed 2pm - 10pm Monday to Thursday, 12.30 - 7pm on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

Loading & Unloading

: Safely load and unload goods from delivery vehicles in line with company procedures

Inventory Management

: Accurately book stock in and out using our warehouse management system (WMS)

Order Fulfilment

: Pick, pack and prepare orders with speed and precision to meet customer expectations

Stock Control

: Assist with regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory levels

Warehouse Support

: Carry out general duties to keep operations running smoothly--including cleaning, restocking, and other tasks as needed

Team Collaboration

: Work closely with your team and supervisors to meet daily targets and deadlines

Continuous Improvement

: Identify and suggest opportunities for improving safety, efficiency or process workflows

Person Specification

A solid understanding of warehouse health & safety practices and procedures Must have a valid Reach license (in-date certification required) Strong attention to detail with excellent numeracy skills Comfortable working with technology, including warehouse management systems A proactive, 'can-do' attitude with a passion for doing things right the first time A team player who communicates effectively and thrives under pressure Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to support different areas of the operation as needed Commitment to maintaining a clean, organised, and high-performing workspace
