We are a well-established road freight operator specialising in deliveries to the isle of man. Our company provides essential logistics, transportation, and warehousing services to a variety of clients, ensuring that goods are delivered safely and efficiently. We are currently undergoing a major site redevelopment, which includes the construction of a 72,000 sq ft warehouse and a 115-bay trailer park. As we continue to grow and expand, we are looking for a dedicated General Maintenance Person to help maintain and support the smooth operation of our site, contributing to both our transport, warehouse and site facilities.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Part-time FLT Driver to join our team. As a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver at Graylaw International, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our busy distribution centre in Skelmersdale. Working a fixed part-time shift from 14:30 to 18:30, Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of goods arriving into and leaving the warehouse.
This is a hands-on position ideally suited to someone with a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and the ability to work well within a structured team environment. You will be primarily operating a counterbalance forklift truck, moving palletised goods, loading and unloading trailers, and ensuring that stock is positioned correctly for both storage and dispatch.
You will work closely with the warehouse and transport teams to ensure schedules are met, and that the movement of freight is carried out in line with company procedures and health and safety regulations. In quieter periods, you may also be required to assist with general warehouse tasks to support smooth workflow across the team.

Key Responsibilities:
Receiving offloading and identifying inbound consignments
Loading export goods onto vehicles and double deck trailers.
Handling all goods with care and reporting any damaged as per company policies.
Monitoring and reporting all HSE issues
Supporting and maintaining a 'clean as you go' policy
Any other duties assigned by the management team.
Qualifications/Experience
Previous experience in a similar role.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in a fast-paced cross dock warehouse environment preferable
Ability to follow instructions.
Must be capable of working unsupervised to meet specific deadlines.
Ability to communicate successfully and work effectively with other team members.
A positive and enthusiastic drive towards work.
Valid in date Fork Lift Truck license - Counterbalance
Flexible and willing to go the extra mile.
