Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling materials, operating warehouse equipment, and supporting the efficient movement of goods within the facility. Responsibilities

Load and unload goods efficiently using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment such as forklifts. Manage materials handling tasks, including sorting, packing, and staging items for shipment or storage. Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and process orders accurately. Perform basic maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods. Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Support inventory counts and cycle checks to maintain accurate stock records. Use mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues when necessary.

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous. Valid forklift licence or experience operating forklifts is desirable. Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment repair is a plus. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Basic maths skills for inventory counting and order processing. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by operational needs.
