Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile experienced FLT Driver with warehouse experience to join a leading and well-established flexible packaging company in Normanton

Main purpose:

To ensure manufacturing is supplied with all items of Raw material or W.I.P. in time and to the correct location or machine and to move materials around the site as required

Main Duties:

Supply each manufacturing machine with the necessary materials as listed on the production plan or as instructed.

Remove all packaging before supplying to relevant machines. Move material around the site as required Wrap all finished pallets as per packing specifications. Remove all waste from within the factory and place it in the allocated area. Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles if required Assist other departments in times of high workloads

The ideal candidate will have:

Good standard education (minimum 3 x GCSEs, Maths & English, or equivalent.) In-date FLT Counterbalance Licence In-date Reach truck licence - preferred but not essential Be well organised and able to plan Good attention to detail Team player with an enthusiastic approach Willing and flexible Good understanding of health & Safety, environment and quality
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operations within our production and warehouse environment. This position involves a range of tasks, including loading and unloading materials, operating forklifts, and assisting with shipping and receiving processes. A strong emphasis on teamwork, attention to detail, and safety is essential.
