Fluent Welsh-Speaking Support Worker (Higher Education Students)

Are you fluent in Welsh and passionate about helping students succeed in higher education? We are seeking a

Welsh-speaking Support Worker

to provide one-to-one academic support for university students funded through the

Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA)

.

About the Role

You will be working with students in higher education who require tailored academic support to help them reach their full potential. Support may include:

Assisting with organisation, time management, and study skills Providing practical and emotional support in line with DSA guidance Encouraging independence and confidence in academic work Delivering sessions in Welsh and/or English, depending on the student's needs

Requirements

? Fluent Welsh and English (spoken and written)
? Experience supporting students or individuals with additional learning needs (desirable)
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
? Must be eligible to work in the UK and able to operate on a self-employed basis
? Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
