FM Assistant - CATERING Band 2 -12.51 per hour (24,465 per annum pro rata) Basildon Mental Health Unit, PLEASE NOTE THIS IS WORKING IN THE MAIN KITCHEN, KITCHEN EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL STAFF WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUPPORT WITH FOOD PREP, COOKING, SERVING , STOCK DELIVERYS AND CLEANING WITHIN THE KICTHEN AND DINING AREA WEEK 1: MONDAY 07:00 - 14:30 & 16:00 - 20:00, WEDNESDAY 07:00 - 14:30 THURSDAY 07:00 - 14:30 FRIDAY 07:00 - 14:30 & 16:00 - 20:00 WEEK 2: TUESDAY 16:00 - 20:00 WEDNESDAY 16:00 - 20:00 SATURDAY 07:00 - 14:30 & 16:00 - 20:00 SUNDAY 07:00 -14:30 & 16:00 - 20:00 This post will include Unsocial Hours Payments as follows: Saturday - Time plus 41% of the salary Sunday - Time plus 83% of the salary
Main duties of the job
To ensure that the ward(s) / areas you are assigned to are cleaned in accordance with the Work Schedule for those ward(s) / areas.
This will include vacuuming floors; sweeping, scrubbing and mopping floors; high and low dusting; wiping over and polishing (where applicable) both vertical and horizontal surfaces, mirrors, chairs*, bed frames*, bins, sani-bins; cleaning toilets, sinks, baths and showers; cleaning cookers, regeneration ovens, fridges, holding fridges, microwaves and others items in the kitchens; defrosting fridges on a regular basis; restocking consumables such as toilet tissue, handtowels, soap; descaling taps; and bins and replacing bin liners.
