Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a warm welcome Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when appropriate Serve food and beverages while adhering to food safety standards Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery Manage cash handling and basic math tasks for transactions Make barista coffee

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations Basic culinary skills or kitchen experience is advantageous Strong time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanour Ability to upsell menu items confidently A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
