Job Description

We're looking for a Part time front of house Supervisor here at South Street Kitchen; located in Sheffield's iconic Park Hill flats. We're a not-for-profit middle-eastern inspired vegetarian and vegan cafe with regular events and bistro nights.

We are looking to fill this role for Start of Janurary

The role will require you to work mostly day time shifts, weekend shifts & some evening availability will be required.

The responsibilities include:

- Giving excellent service to guests.

- Working in a fast paced cafe environment.

- Serving customers at the table.

- Making the cafe look presentable after guests leave.

- Learning the menu and offering recommendations to customers.

- Making drinks; soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and cocktails.

- Till operation and bookings system operation

- Supervising the team and setting teh standards

- Support the ongoing general operation of the venue

- Being flexible with working hours.

- General cleaning, deep cleaning and maintenance of the cafe.

- Great telephone manner.

We are also looking for someone who has experience with social media and pushing bussiness promotions. This role can add addititnal hours for the right candidate.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

This position is a minimum of 30 hours per week and will require weekend availability.
